Welcome to the Senior Men's League Elk Cup

• Points are awarded over a 14 week span of Thursday Play (June 2 thru September 1)
• Points can be earned in each of two categories:

• Points are available for both weekly play and in selected League events:

• Participation Points- 20 points for each of the designated events in which a member plays and finishes

• Performance Points
•               20 points per player in the field are entered into the "Performance Point Tournament Pool"
•               The "Tournament Pool" is divided by the number of flights in the tournament, giving the "Flight                 Pool"
•               The winners of the flight will be distributed the Performance Points for their flight at a pre-determined percentage based on the field and flight size

• Example: 
•            20 players in the field x 20 points/player = 400 points in "Tournament Pool"
•            If 3 flights=133 points in each "Flight Pool"
•            If 4 places are paid in each flight, points are distributed at 40/30/20/10% of the total available               points in the Flight Pool

• Senior League Stroke Play Championship                                    Thursday July 21 (No Thurs game)
• Senior League 2-Man Best Ball                                                    Thursday August 4 (No Thurs game)

• Participation Poitns- 5 points for each week a member plays in Thursday Play
• Performance Points- 5 points per player in the field are entered into the "Performance Point Tournament Pool"
• Format is Chicago, therefore there are no flights so the "Tournament Pool" is paid out to the winners. It is planned that approximately 1/3 of the field will be paid out.
