|Golf season is here!|
It’s crazy to announce this, but Grand Elk opened on Wednesday, APRIL 12th !!
Tee times begin at 10 am for now.
It looks like the warm weather and lack of March snow will allow for one of the longest seasons in our history.
For the next couple of weeks we will have 9 holes available
each day (weather permitting)
Walking only for now
Practice range opens today also
Only $25 per player, all you can play, range included
* Only $20 with a valid Grand Elk Player's Card
For the third year in a row we are opening the golf course before the Winter Park Ski Area closes! But we want to allow the Grand Elk Homeowners and local golfers the chance to start their golf season in Grand County. This is a very “soft” opening, as many of the golf course employees are still working their winter jobs.
We still have lots of cleaning up to do on the course and the grass is just starting to grow, so conditions are very early-season, but we hope people enjoy this “bonus time” at a very affordable rate. As conditions allow we will start letting carts out on the course, and open all 18 holes. The restaurant and course will be in full operation beginning May 5th.
A few notes:
It's wet out there -
Wear your waterproof shoes.
We are remodeling the Grille-
The Clubhouse is all torn up for renovation, so candy and sodas are available in the golf shop - Grille to re-open on May 5th.
It's really early-
We are just now able to get out on the course to clean up after the winter, so please bear with us while we get our work done.
But, it's April Golf in Grand County!
Come enjoy the start of another great season.

Our new GolfBoards have arrived, and will be available to ride as soon as the course dries out a little more. Stay tuned for details…
Golf Shop Hours
Starting Tuesday, April 11th, the Golf Shop will be staffed at least from 10 am until 3 PM until we open on Friday. Stop by and pick up you Player’s Card, Super Card, or Annual Membership and be ready for golf on Friday.
If we get a day when the course is unplayable in the next couple of weeks, the Golf Shop will be closed also. Call 970-887-9122 for more info.
New cart fleet and GPS
Our new 2017 Club Cars are being delivered next week, including our state-of-the-art Visage GPS system. The installation process will take several days, and it is too wet for carts right now, but we will be in full operation no later than May 5th – weather permitting, as always.
