Golf Season is here!
It just keeps getting earlier! Grand Elk will open
today, Tuesday, April 10th at NOON !!
Are we crazy? Yes,
about our golfers!
The forecast is good for at least 2 days, so what the heck!
Tee Times begin at 10 am for now.
It looks like the warm weather and lack of March snow will allow for one of the
longest seasons in our history.
For the next week or so we will have 9 holes available
each day (weather permitting)
Walking only for now
Practice range opens today also
Only $25 per player, all you can play, range
* Only $20 with a valid Grand Elk Player's Card
For the 4th year in a row we are opening the golf course before the
Winter Park Ski Area closes! But we want to allow the Grand Elk Homeowners and
local golfers the chance to start their golf season in Grand County. This
is a very “soft” opening, as many of the golf course employees are still
working their winter jobs.
We still have lots of cleaning up to do on the course and the grass is just
starting to grow, so conditions are very early-season, but we hope people enjoy
this “bonus time” at a very affordable rate. As conditions allow we will
start letting carts out on the course, and open all 18 holes. The
restaurant and course will be in full operation beginning May 4th.
A few notes:
The grass is
barely growing - conditions are very early season, and we have lots of cleaning
up to do from the winter.
It's wet out there -
Wear your waterproof shoes.
But, it's April Golf in Grand County!
Come enjoy the start of another great season.

another great season.
